Norwegian Cruise Line posted some really incredible pictures of the new bow for the Norwegian Epic being lowered and welded into place. The ship is being constructed at the STX Europe shipyard in St. Nazaire, France, It is amazing how much that one section visually transforms the project into a unique ship. The world got its first glimpse of Norwegian Cruise Line's (NCL) newest "It" Girl-Norwegian Gem-as she left drydock at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany on Sunday, August 12. Norwegian Cruise Line made several changes to its North American fleet rotation. The line will send the Norwegian Sun from New Orleans to Miami in October, move the Norwegian Spirit from New York to New Orleans in November and assign the Norwegian Gem, which debuts in October, to New York beginning in December to sail to the Bahamas and Florida.
